Compared to 800–1000 nm diode lasers previously used, the dios:1470 diode laser with a wavelength of 1470 nm allows better absorption of the laser radiation in the vein. In combination with the intros infinity laser fiber, it achieves a homogeneous heat distribution and a lower thermal load on the tissue. This makes the application safer and allows the treated area to heal much faster.

As a lipo laser, hemorrhoid laser or endovenous laser, the dios:1470 diode laser is a versatile tool that combined with state-of-the-art fiber technology represents an innovative alternative to various non-surgical methods of treatment. Its wavelength is also a key to its success: Unlike wavelengths of 810–1320 nm, lasers with emission wavelengths of 1470 nm and 1940 nm are particularly suitable for endovenous therapy and other applications in which vessels are treated. The dios:1470 diode laser enables much higher absorption in the blood and in the vessel wall. The dios:1470 diode laser also achieves excellent results as a fat removal laser and can be used in addition to conventional liposuction.
